What we did: • Listened to Miss S read the story Taniwha • Asked and answered questions like: What is a taniwha? What does a taniwha look like? What does a taniwha do? Where does a taniwha live? • Went outside and used chalk to draw our own taniwha on the concrete • Used describing words to talk about and write stories about our taniwha
